Un miracle vient de se produire. En investiguant pour obtenir un permis de pêche sur la rivière Ythan qui coule dans Ellon la petite ville où nous habitons, j’ai découvert que le propriètaire de la maison que nous occupons possède les droits de pêche sur tout le parcours situé en bas du jardin.
Le contact rapidement établi avec le propriétaire je parviens à obtenir un permis annuel sur le parcours en question, gracieusement octroyé. C’est un miracle et complètement inespéré. St Pierre me protège. L’Ythan est une excellente petite rivière à Saumon et truites de mer (seatrout) avec une remontée importante de saumon en Septembre et Octobre. Le parcours que j’aurai l’honneur de pêcher est situe dans la partie basse de la rivière, encore influencée par les marées. Par niveau bas (uniquement) les poissons tous frais rentrés depuis l’estuaire à Newburgh s’arrêtent dans ces premiers pools. Et imaginez un peu, ces fameux pools sont situés en bas du jardin, à 30 secondes de la maison à pieds. Le RËVE !!!!!!!!!!!
Les contacts sont vites établis avec les habitues du syndicat qui pêchent la rive opposée. Leur 1er conseils sur la localisation des bons lies et autres paramètres de marée vont s’avéré très précieux. Voir la suite au prochain épisode.
