Toujours très peu de saumon sur mes pools de la Ythan en bas de la maison. Suite à l’été calamiteux, les niveaux ont toujours été un peu trop eau pour ce beat situé très proche de la mer (tidal zone). Pour que les saumons s’arrêtent sur ces pools il faut des niveaux d’eau très bas (inférieur à 0.8 m sur la jauge de Ellon). Il y n’aura eu qu’un bon run en Septembre, mais depuis plus ou quasiment plus rien. Les beats du hauts pêchent mieux. Si en plus les loutres (otter en Anglais) s’y mettent, ça devient difficile !!
